Bill utilizes a team of associates to address the unique challenges various workshops present. Highly skilled and experienced colleagues join Bill when the size or demographics of the group, or the subject matter demands a diversity of facilitators The multicultural team includes colleagues whose attitudes, skills, and experience allow us to present the quality of workshops that our clients depend upon. Bill Woodson, Ph.D.

Bill Woodson has more than forty years experience as an organizational consultant and an executive and management coach in the corporate, non-profit, educational, and governmental sectors. He is President of Brooks Woodson Associates LLC, an international consulting firm that has specialized in managing organizational change, developing highly productive work teams that value diversity, and enhancing executive and managerial effectiveness. Bill is also a psychologist and psychotherapist who has had private practices in California and New York.

His corporate clients have included companies in the pharmaceutical, telecommunications, finance, insurance, publishing, petroleum refining, and transportation equipment industries. Bill has specialized in assisting companies develop and execute culture change initiatives that equally value diversity and excellence. He has worked with employees at all levels using such processes as organizational assessment, strategic human resource planning, refinement of management systems, as well as customized multi-level training programs. These measures have prepared his clients to master their new roles so that they may prosper in the newly emerging organizational culture.

Bill brings his experience as a psychologist, corporate executive, consultant, University professor, and trainer to his role as an executive and management coach. He has assisted his clients develop strategic thinking and effective team-building skills. He teaches managers how to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in order to establish achievable performance goals. He also provides them with such tools as giving and receiving feedback, collaborative negotiation, conflict resolution, and mediation.

Dr. Woodson formerly conducted workforce research for the Institute of Industrial Relations at U. C. Berkeley. He also served as the Director of Organization Planning and Development at Westinghouse Broadcasting and Cable, Inc., and has managed consulting practices in California and New York. He has been on the faculty of several universities including the University of California at Berkeley, Hayward State College, Boston University, and The New School for Social Research in New York City. In addition, he has taught in the American University/NTL master’s program in Organizational Development. Dr. Woodson has also been associated with the International Center for Cooperation and Conflict Resolution at Columbia University’s Teachers College.

His membership in professional and community organizations has included: NTL Institute (National Training Labs), Organization Development Network (ODN), American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), World Future Society, Africa Roundtable, and One Hundred Black Men. He has also served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Balm in Gilead and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Insight Meditation Society.

Bill earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from Boston University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point. His post-doctoral work includes training in Organization Development and Human Resources Management conducted jointly by Columbia University and the University of Michigan. He is a qualified user of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a certified Power & Systems Workshop trainer, a co-designer of the Merging Cultures training program, a certified community mediator, and a licensed psychologist in
New York State.

Anne H. Litwin, Ph.D.

Anne H. Litwin, Ph.D.

Anne Litwin has been a consultant to organizations and a coach to senior managers for more than 30 years in the USA and internationally. She has been the C.E.O. of her family retail business, is past-Chair of the Board of Directors of NTL Institute and is an adjunct faculty member at American University in Washington, DC. She is co-editor of the book, Managing in the Age of Change, along with numerous journal articles. She is conducting research on patterns of relationship between women in organizations. Dr. Litwin believes that each stage of life and/or turn of events opens opportunities to ask new questions and discover new sides of ourselves – if we have the courage to grab the moment.

Tom Finn

Tom Finn

Tom Finn consults to leaders and is an author. He consults to organizations who want to "scale up" the positive power and influence of their leaders for a global marketplace; e.g., those who need to handle high pressure and responsibility, an executive who gets results but has a "fatal flaw" interpersonally, or those who need to manage well across cultures and differences, whether globally or locally. Mr. Finn uses the leader's patterns – cultural, familial, ancestral, individual – to encourage growth of expanded skills. His book is called Are You Clueless? (Kells Castle Press, March 2008) – an everyday guidebook of clues for leading diverse workplaces He lives in Reston, VA and is married to red-haired Kathleen.

Teressa Moore Griffin

Teressa Moore Griffin – Founder, Spirit of Purpose

Teressa is a spiritual seeker and an agent of transformational change. She taps the core of her clients’ humanity, in the service of their growth and increased awareness of their real power. She has successfully coached and consulted with leaders in a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical, financial, and consumer products. A former adjunct faculty member at The American University and The Institute for Core Energetics, she is a published writer in the area of diversity in the workplace. Most recently, Teressa contributed the chapter on “Effective Cross-Cultural Communication”, in the book The Theory and Practice of Effective Cross-Cultural Teams. Married to Bill Griffin, she loves and stands in the shoes of mother to many young people.
